Guided tours
Private tours for between 1-25 people with a 25:1 visitor-to-docent ratio are available with one-week advanced notice as space allows. These tours are approximately 1 hour and can encompass The Works of Frank Baum, focusing on specific areas of interest such as literature, Wizard of Oz movies, memorabilia, and collectibles. Tour and times are subject to the availability of the guide. The private tour reservation will include timed entry admission tickets.
Usually, the bus group of around 50 visitors will be divided into two groups. While the first group toured the museum, another group experienced Immersive exhibits in a separate room.
The group in the Immersive room will have an opportunity to experience the Immersive Wizard of Oz scenes. In addition, the group will enjoy seeing Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh features many of his masterpieces, including Starry Night and Sunflowers, that are animated and brought to life. With over 5000 square feet of animated projections, the exhibit is a dance of art, light, music, and imagination.
