Florida Wizard of Oz museum - Collectible Books

One of the Cocoa Beach attractions in Wizard of Oz museum is display books related to Wizard of Oz theme. Visitors will have a chance to learn about 14 Wizard of Oz related books written by L.Frank Baum and see first edition copies ( some with an original dust jackets) on display. Also L.Frank Baum wrote over 90 different titles outside of OZ series in twenty years span. Some of them he wrote under various psydo names on order not to be confused with the Oz books series. In 1920 after L.Frank Baum dies, the publisher Reilly & Lee commision Ruth Plumly Thompson to continue ther series. She wrote another Oz titles from 1921 till 1939. John Neill the illustrator of Oz books also wrote 3 titles from 1940 till 1943. THere is official 40 Oz titles that consider official OZ books.
