The Wizard of Oz Museum has moved from Cape Canaveral to our exciting new location in Cocoa Beach! Just minutes from Port Canaveral and the beach, our expanded museum brings together an extraordinary collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia with immersive experiences for the whole family.

The move to Cocoa Beach has allowed us to expand the museum, introduce new immersive experiences, and create an even more memorable destination for Wizard of Oz fans and families visiting Cocoa Beach and the Space Coast.
🌈 Why We Chose Cocoa Beach
After two years of planning and searching for the right location, the opportunity to move to Cocoa Beach gave us the chance to create something even better than we originally envisioned.
Our new Cocoa Beach building provides the space and flexibility to expand the museum, invest in the visitor experience, and introduce immersive experiences that simply weren’t possible in our previous location. With a larger footprint and a purpose-designed immersive experience, we can bring even more of the magic of Oz to life.
Our Cocoa Beach location places the museum in the heart of a vibrant tourist area on Florida’s Space Coast, close to Port Canaveral, hotels, restaurants, the beach, and other popular attractions.
We’re also located near the Dinosaur Store & Museum and the Florida Surf Museum, creating an exciting opportunity to envision a unique cluster of museums and family attractions in Cocoa Beach.
🌈 A Cocoa Beach Museum District
We envision a future “Cocoa Beach Museum District” where families can easily experience several unique attractions in one area.
Our vision even includes a colorful walking connection: a yellow brick road leading toward the Wizard of Oz Museum, a blue path toward the Florida Surf Museum, and a brown path toward the Dinosaur Store & Museum.
For us, moving to Cocoa Beach wasn’t simply a change of address. It was an opportunity to create a bigger, more immersive, and more magical experience for our guests while becoming part of the Cocoa Beach community.
