This is a Family all-age Museum. Kids as early as 2 years old can enjoy the museum visit, as well as visitors over 90.
- Since the museum is fairly new, attendance is usually under 10 visitors at any given time. Not overcrowded.
- Easily walkable without stairs and benches in the Immersive room.
- Chairs in Kid’s room to watch the movie.
- Free 100 cars parking next to the entrance less than 50 feet away.
- All other benefits of collectibles on display and the Immersive Experience are covered on other pages.
The museum is located in the leased Building and is in the process of a permanent relocation to a new location in Kissimmee.
- Outside appearance does not do justice to the Museum Experience. The expression ” Do not judge the book by its cover” applies to the museum also.
- The parking lot might have small holes, but nothing major.
- Only one shared handicap-accessible bathroom for the public.
- No changing table for babies.
- Due to the old construction, the museum has a low ceiling compared to other newer museums.
- The gift shop is overcrowded with merchandise due to the adequate space allocated for the gift shop.
- Although children’s admission price is $15, for adults it is $30. Although the price is on par with other attractions in the area, it might be too expensive for some visitors. Lowering the price might result in crowd control issues and negative visitor experiences. We do not want visitors to feel that they are on the kids’ playgrounds, this is the main reason we do not sell annual membership.

We offer kids a scavenger animal hunt where they search for animals and receive a prize if they find them. By looking, children inadvertently learn about Oz. We never know how this can impact a child’s life. The Museum’s goal is to inspire reading through curiosity. We also have a small kids’ room full of Oz toys from the 1950s or later for them to play with and enjoy. There are games to play, pop-up books to play with, browse through color illustrations from original Oz books, hand puppets, Oz masks, ruby slippers, and wicked witch hats to try. Toddlers table with the yellow brick road and chairs in the form of OZ characters to sit on to take photos. Kids enjoy looking through 46 cabinets at the museum, taking photos with life-size characters, and being part of the scenes in the Immersive room. Kids will be exposed to art, classical music, children’s book series, and some elements of Science. Kids also enjoy flying through the Universe scene and sometimes push the planets projected onto the walls.
We have completed 7 scenes for The Wizard of Oz with 13 minutes duration and showing 12 minutes of the Van Gogh exhibit while content for the additional Wizard of Oz scenes at the design stages.
